Taking to the stage are current grant recipients of the Scholarship PLUS programme – from established acts to emerging talents, spanning hip hop, rock, alt-pop, R&B and Afrobeats to bass and experimental electronica. The line-up includes:

MUNSEF (DJ)
Lena Stoehrfaktor
ANNY
Grimsøn
Milan Ring
KLŌ (DJ)

Tickets are free of charge but available only in limited numbers. First come, first served.

With this new format, selected grantees are given the opportunity to present their current projects live and introduce themselves to a wider audience. The aim is to make the diversity of Berlin’s music landscape visible and to create space for exchange, inspiration and networking. Thanks to FluxFM, our media partner for the showcase.

The Scholarship PLUS programme is a joint initiative by Musicboard Berlin and Music Pool Berlin. It supports Berlin-based musicians in developing their artistic practice through funding, mentoring, and professional training. The programme combines financial support with artistic and practical guidance – strengthening exchange and collaboration within Berlin’s independent music scene.

LINE-UP

MUNSEF is a music producer and DJ whose music blends personal storytelling with electronic experimentation. His work pushes traditional elements into new sonic territories. Munsef has multiple releases across various projects and is now preparing his debut solo album, focused exploration of identity and sound.

The rapping underground heavyweight Lena Stoehrfaktor from Berlin has been shaking up the sparse hip-hop landscape with her gritty style since 2005. Her lyrics provoke with themes drawn from real life and are laid over beats that underscore the mood of the content with remarkable finesse.

Ghana meets the Ruhr region – Afro sounds with German lyrics and a touch of English highlights. This fusion is the result of ANNY’s diverse musical upbringing. Influenced by reggae, highlife, and gospel, she now has a passion for West African Afrobeats, which she makes danceable in German for audiences in this country.

Grimsøn is the project of Swedish/American songwriter Aiden Berglund, who began his journey in New York’s underground scene before moving to Berlin in 2019. There, he blended hand-drawn animations with 60s-inspired songs, creating a mix of Gothic rock, sweet harmonies, and baroque pop.

Milan Ring is a Berlin-based songwriter, producer, guitarist, and mix engineer crafting genre-bending alt-electronic pop and R&B. Her work is a rich tapestry of intricate vocal layering, lush guitar tones, and raw percussive energy – woven from the organic and digital, the intimate and expansive, the ethereal and the tangible.

KLÔ is a Paris-born, Berlin-based singer and producer known for her innovative sound that blends electronic music with live instrumentation. With a passion for fusing genres, Klō seamlessly combines elements of jungle, drum and bass, indie rock, and experimental electronica to create music that is both raw and emotive.
