Neromun’s multifaceted approach reflects the complexity of mythical hybrid beings and challenges conventional ideas of identity. Raised as a biracial child in a predominantly white environment, Neromun rebelled from an early age against rigid constructs of identity. The musical journey began at the age of 13, evolving from boombap battle rap to a softer, more melodic style. Today, Neromun masterfully blends R&B with German lyrics, transcending not only genre boundaries but also traditional notions of gender.
In 2024, Neromun receives a Musicboard scholarship of 4,500 euros to work on an album.
