Following the decision of the supervisory board, Marie von der Heydt has signed her contract as the Managing Director of Musicboard Berlin GmbH. Starting January 1, 2025, she will officially succeed Katja Lucker, who stepped down from the role on December 31, 2023. The supervisory board of Musicboard Berlin GmbH was supported by an advisory committee during the recruitment process for the advertised position.
Marie von der Heydt has been serving as interim Managing Director of Musicboard Berlin GmbH since January 2024. Prior to this, she held various roles in the cultural sector and the music and creative industries, including as team leader for music in the Senate Department for Culture and Europe and as an advisor for culture and media in the Analysis, Planning, and Consulting department of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. She studied Popular Music and Media as well as Cultural Studies in Paderborn, Berlin, and London.
