Lyra Pramuk

Lyra Pramuk is a vocalist, composer, and performance artist based in Berlin. Her work fuses classical vocalism, pop sensibilities, performance practices and contemporary club culture in what can best be described as futurist folk music. Devotional music embodies the deep-seated human urge to express our innermost, primal emotions. For Pramuk, devotion is ingrained in her compositions that harness the power of technology to expand the human voice as an object of limitless possibility.

Pramuk holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the Eastman School of Music. She has an ongoing collaboration with artist Donna Huanca. Other collaborations include Holly Herndon, Colin Self, and Ben Frost. She has been featured at prominent festivals and venues across Europe, the US, and Australia. Pramuk is regularly commissioned for instrumental compositions, film scores, and sound installations.

Lyra Pramuk receives a scholarship of 7,000 euros in 2024 for the production of an album.
