About Le Plan
Le Plan is a renowned French live venue for rock, pop, and hip hop in Ris-Orangis, near Paris. Aside from two concert halls, Le Plan offers rehearsal and studio spaces as well as residencies for musicians.

About Le Studio des Variétés (SDV), Paris
SDV is an artist coaching center for pop and jazz musicians located in Paris’s lively and central Bastille district. Coaching at SDV is always individually tailored to the musician. It can encompass vocal training, stage performance, production, songwriting, media training, or help with project structuring. The coaches are well acquainted with the field, have artistic backgrounds themselves, and have all completed a special coaching training. More information about SDV’s coaching is available here.

Residency Details
Musicboard residents can work on-site in the studios of Le Plan and are mentored by professional staff members, such as sound engineers and lighting technicians. The studios are well-suited for working on live sets, preparing an album or a tour, and for pre-production. They are very extensively equipped technically, and further equipment can be made available by Le Plan through special arrangement. This residency is labor-intensive and is particularly appropriate for musicians who are looking to develop or implement a concrete technical or artistic project using resources and equipment of the highest standard. As a rule, the residency concludes with a live performance by the Musicboard resident at Le Plan. In 2020, there will be the opportunity to perform at the official opening event for the new concert season of Le Plan, taking place on September 19, 2020. The Artist Coaching at SDV in Paris is optional and can be completed before, during, or after the residency at Le Plan.

Musicboard’s Contributions
