Back before laptops and USB sticks were a thing, Leipzig’s own Josi Miller found her love for vinyl – and by now she can safely say she’s run through the DJ game from every angle. These days you’ll catch her behind the decks all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Her sets cut straight across genres, blending rap, SoundCloud edits and bass-heavy electronic sounds in a way that refuses to be boxed in. She’s also in front of the camera every other Thursday on ARTE’s Chat with a DJ, where she gets properly nerdy with DJs and artists from across the electronic scene. On top of that, she produces for herself and for a range of collaborators, and has dropped two EPs with her project Import Export.
Josi Miller is awarded a residency at Sternhagen Gut in the Uckermark region in 2024. During the residency, she is supported by mentoring from Gudrun Gut.
