1 Programme
Are you a musician or music professional based in Berlin with plans to break into the international market? Are you wondering how to land slots at showcase festivals? Do you want to expand your international network and gain insights into international booking?
At Berlin Outbound – International Pop Exchange on 27 August 2025, you can explore these questions in depth. This Musicboard Berlin programme offers emerging and established musicians as well as music industry professionals a platform to further develop their careers and international networks. Following its successful debut last year, Berlin Outbound is returning as part of the Pop-Kultur Festival.
Berlin Outbound takes place on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm at silent green. In the evening, the Pop-Kultur Festival will continue at the silent green Kulturquartier and Humboldthain Club. Within the creative atmosphere of the Pop-Kultur Festival, Berlin Outbound provides space for targeted mentoring sessions, expert talks, and networking. The platform offers an opportunity to engage with a delegation of ten international experts, primarily active in the fields of festivals and booking. The programme is complemented by Berlin-based experts sharing their experience working internationally.
The following experts have already been confirmed:

- Vilma Dzienaitė, What’s Next in Music?, Lithuania
The programme is continuously being updated. The focus is on interactive formats and personal exchange on equal footing, with the goal of fostering lasting connections between the Berlin music scene and international representatives. Full programme details will be announced at the end of July. Participants will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Pop-Kultur Festival programme together.
