Allocation of Funding: Support Tour Funding – 1st half of 2026

In the first half of 2026, Musicboard Berlin awards a total of approximately 40,000 euros for support tour projects of Berlin bands and artists. Applications for the Support Tour Funding programme are reviewed on a rolling basis and can be submitted until 30 November 2026.

Musicboard’s Support Tour Funding programme supports up-and-coming Berlin pop musicians in their plans to go on national or international tour with a more established act. To be on tour with a headlining act for a longer period, generally exceeds the financial budget of younger bands. This is where the Support Tour Funding comes in, enabling the support act to expand its audience and gain live experiences. The funding is awarded as a purpose-specific scholarship.

The funding is awarded upon recommendation of an independent jury of Berlin-based pop experts. In 2026, the jury appointed to the Support Tour Funding programme consists of Anna Groß (artist and event manager, label operator SPRINGSTOFF GmbH), Donata Kramarz (singer, songwriter, and producer), and Ralf Diemert (founder and managing director of the booking agency von der haardt).

21 SUPPORT TOUR PROJECTS RECEIVE A TOTAL OF 39,634.00 EUROS

In the first half of the year 2026, the jury received 32 formally valid applications with a total volume of 81,872.37 euros for the Support Tour Funding programme. Of these, 21 tour projects received a total funding amount of 39,634.00 euros:
