The YO! SISSY Music Festival focuses on bridging the gap between local talents and established international acts, with an emphasis on the presentation of female and transgender performers. The aim is to highlight the diversity of Berlin’s art scene and enable its protagonists to perform alongside established international acts. In 2017, the festival entered its third round additionally offereing a YO! SISSY market place: an area, where local queer companies will be presented, including music workshops and panels for artists.
